Retail Sales Manager - Real Deal Tackle

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Sales Manager to oversee both our in-store and online fishing retail operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about the fishing industry, excels in customer service, and is skilled at managing sales, inventory, and vendor relationships. This role combines hands-on retail leadership with digital sales management, requiring strong communication and organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily retail operations for both physical store and online sales platforms.

  • Provide exceptional customer service in person, via email, and through online messaging channels.

  • Maintain and update inventory across in-store and web-based systems, ensuring accurate stock levels and product listings.

  • Coordinate with sales representatives, vendors, and key accounts to support ongoing business relationships.

  • Represent the company at 2–3 trade shows annually, assisting with setup, sales, and customer engagement.

  • Utilize basic computer programs (e.g., Microsoft Excel, POS systems, inventory software) to track sales, monitor performance, and support operational needs.

  • Support marketing and promotional initiatives to drive traffic and increase sales.

  • Help train and guide retail staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in retail sales management or a related customer-facing role.

  • Knowledge of fishing products and the fishing industry preferred.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Comfortable working weekends and a flexible weekly schedule.

  • Proficiency with basic computer software, especially Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • Professional, dependable, and customer-focused.

Compensation:
